- Description
- This is not a request for proposal, nor an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation notice is to identify potential offerors. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), for new construction, renovation, alteration, repair, and associated architecture/engineering work at various locations in Japan. The capacity of this MACC will be $49,000,000 or Japanese Yen equivalent. The task order range will be between $2,000 and $500,000 or Japanese Yen equivalent. The contract shall be for a term of five (5) periods consisting of the base period with four (4) option periods or until the not to exceed value has been met, whichever occurs first. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at https://asia.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available on the AsiaNECO website. No hard copies will be provided. Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the AsiaNECO website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the AsiaNECO website for any amendments issued to the solicitation. This procurement is intended only for local sources in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). Local sources are those persons or entities that normally reside and are licensed to conduct business in Japan. Offers from non-local sources will not be considered under this solicitation in accordance with provisions of the U. S. Japan Status of Forces Agreement.
