- The FAA is seeking a Contractor to provide fitness training services and manage the overall operations of the FAA Headquarters Fitness Center, located at Building 10B, 600 Independence Ave., SW, DC 20591. The Government has determined this requirement shall be a Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is: 561210 “ Facility Support Services. The small business size standard as defined by the Small Business Administration for NAICS codes based on annual receipt; the annual average receipts for the last three fiscal years, cannot exceed $38.5M. It is anticipated that a Labor Hour type contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. A pre-proposal Site Visit will be held on February 1, 2018, 2:00 pm, EST. The Contracting Officer will provide Offerors the details needed to attend this event. The location of the Site visit will be Building 10B, 600 Independence Ave., SW, Washington, DC 20591. One walkthrough will be provided for all Offerors. Information concerning this SIR or request for clarification shall be provided in writing, via email, to Contracting Officer, Natalie Burgess, at natalie.burgess@faa.gov. Sources of the questions will not be identified. Any questions should be submitted electronically via email to the Contracting Officer no later than February, 2, 2018, 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time. TELEPHONE QUESTIONS AND MAILED QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will post one public response for all inquiries received. The FAA response to questions may be posted as an amendment to the SIR on the Contracting Opportunities website. Proposals must be provided to the Contracting Officer, Natalie Burgess, by the stated deadline at the following address (Email submissions are acceptable): Federal Aviation Administration 800 Independence Avenue, S.W., 400 West, Washington, DC 20591 Attention: Natalie Burgess Email: Natalie.burgess@faa.gov TIME AND DATE “ Complete proposals must be received by the Contracting Officer before February, 23, 2018, 2 pm EST. Any responses received after 2:00 p.m. EST, February 23, 2018, may not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals, incorporated by reference in the solicitation; and the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process. This SIR is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals.
