AMENDMENT NO. 1 CORRECTS THE RAD HARD DESCRIPTION AS FOLLOWS: FROM: (>1.7 Gy/year) TO: <7 Gy/yr THE NEW DESCRIPTION OF THIS POSTING NOW READS AS FOLLOWS: "SLAC is seeking for a supplier of RAD hard <7 Gy/yr vacuum pumps to be used in the upgrade of LCLS to LCLS-II. We require: 1. Turbomolecular vacuum pumps a. ~1300 l/s i. RAD hard with remote controller electronics (and 20m cable) and standard non-RAD hard ii. Attached via 10" Conflat flange iii. Water cooled iv. Primary gas load will be Argon or Nitrogen v. 200-240VAC, 1 phase 2. Roots roughing pumps a. ~130 l/s i. Water cooled ii. RAD hard with relay control or remote electronics (and 20m cable) iii. 200-220VAC, 3 phase b. ~80 l/s i. Water cooled ii. 200-220VAC, 3 phase c. ~16 l/s i. Air cooled ii. 200-220VAC, 3 phase THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS INTERESTED IN BEING CONSIDERED AS A POTENTIAL SOURCE SHOULD IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS AN "INTERESTED PARTY" VIA THE FBO PORTAL. DO NOT CONTACT THE SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR."
