- Description
- This is a Notice of Intent to extend the Contractor support services on a sole source basis to assist with financial and procurement data cleanup, conversion and migration into a new Oracle R12.2.2 Federal Financial System. This extension is permitted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition and is in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999). The USCG has a continuing requirement to extend contractor support services to assist with financial and procurement data cleanup, conversion and migration into a new Oracle R12.2.2 Federal Financial System. This extension will provide continued assist with financial and procurement data cleanup, conversion and migration into a new Oracle R12.2.2 Federal Financial System until the follow-on task order is award. This effort supports the financial system modernization effort with in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Office of the Comptroller (CG-8C), Office of Financial System Business Requirements (CG-86), Office of Financial System (CG-632) and the Coast Guard Finance Center (FINCEN). The implementation plan for these services aligns with the goals and timelines established by the Financial Management and Procurement Services Integration Team (FMPS iTeam). This will be the only Notice of the Governments Intent to extend the current order. Firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Lisa Penn in writing via e-mail at lisa.m.penn@uscg.mil by 5:00 P.M. EST on February 2, 2018. No extensions will be granted. All responses from qualified sources will be fully considered. Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
