- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole source contract to HC Integrated Systems, Inc. (HCI). HCI will provide and install cameras and fiber to include all required ancillary equipment such as but not limited to fittings, connectors, convertors for the Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) security system. The AMOC 24/7 is a secure law enforcement operations center for CBP. HCI was awarded a contract originally from the US ARMY to build a new building/facility on the AMOC grounds. This new facility includes a new security system that meets the rigid minimum security requirements of the secure facility. It was identified post award that the security system of the new building would not integrate with the system on the current buildings at AMOC due to out dated analog equipment which no longer meet s the minimum security standards. HCI must complete the work on AMOC's current facilities while installing and integrating the new security components in the new facility to ensure proper operability. Therefore, this will ensure that the new AMOC security system is properly secured, integrated and protected under the warranties available, to minimize duplication of equipment and associated interference issues. The anticipated contract period of performance will be from January 23, 2018 through April 1, 2018. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. There is no formal solicitation available for this requirement at this time.
