Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Anchorage, Alaska District (AJW-3472) has a requirement for Facility Custodian Services located at 4610 International Airport Road A, Anchorage, Alaska, 99502-1019. See attached Statement of Work for more information. All interested Small businesses are encouraged to submit a response to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of fulfilling this requirement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms or if full and open competition is appropriate. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 561720, Janitorial Services, with a size standard of $18 Million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm b) Number of years in business c) Geographic area where your company can provide services d) Previous experience for work involving similar scope PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A PAGE LIMITATION OF THREE (3) PAGES MAXIMUM PER RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY. THIS IS ONLY A REQUEST FOR GENERAL INFORMATION. EXCESSIVE SUBMISSIONS ARE NOT DESIRED. Attached is the Statement of Work. Respondents are encouraged to review the Statement of Work and provide comments in their final response. The deadline to receive comments or questions concerning the market survey is 29 January 2018 at 5:00 pm CDT. The Contracting Office and Program Office must have sufficient time to review comments/questions in order to provide meaningful feedback and disseminate amongst all interested parties. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short- term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
