- This is the NAVSUP WSS sources sought notice for the repair of components used on the F/A-18 aircraft to be performed under a 5 Year Basic Ordering Agreement. The Nordam Group Inc., CAGE 29957, located in Tulsa, OK is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. The items requiring repair / modification are contained on the Attachment A to this notice. Even though these items are sole source to Nordam, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The spare repairable assemblies to be repaired and/or modified under this agreement are set forth by manufacturers part number and constitute Government Property as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 Government Property or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable. NAVSUP WSS is also seeking to determine if there are any commercial items (CI) or non-developmental items (NDI) that will satisfy the repair needs of this forthcoming procurement. In addition, NAVSUP WSS is seeking any eligible small business firms including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, certified HUBZone small businesses, and certified 8(a) capable of performing these repairs. Eligible contractors shall provide a submission to Danielle.grzeszczak@navy.mil no later than 23 January 2018 that includes: 1)Company Name and Cage Code 2)Part Number/NIIN eligible to repair 3)Is your company the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)? 4)Is your company seeking to repair the P/N(s) in #2 as a CI or NDI part? a) What is the CI or NDI repair part that will satisfy these requirements? 5)Is your company capable of repairing the P/N in #2 but your company is not the OEM? a) Explain how your company has the technical capacity to perform the necessary repairs. 6)Is your company a Small Business?
