- TARS-Site Visits-Registration Form-Attachment 1 TARS-Special Notice-Site Visits Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS)-Request for Information (RFI) is modified to add the opportunity for industry to visit three (3) TARS Sites. The Government is making available these site visits to enable potential offerors to become familiar with the size, scope and operations at the TARS sites. It is anticipated that providing industry a better understanding of the program will facilitate competition for the TARS follow-on acquisition. R egistration closes on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 1700 ET; the registration form must be received by that date/time. The TARS Program Office will provide additional details and logistics on each site to the registered attendees prior to the visits.
