DeBakey, Houston VAMC has a requirement for the purchase of 2 GE Healthcare Carestation 650 A1 Anesthesia Machine to support Non-OR / Out of OR procedures performed by Anesthesiology Care Line. ITEM # MANUF. Part Number Qty. Description 0001 GE 2 GE Healthcare Carestation 650 A1 with anesthesia carestation 650 standard package, ACGO Assy + Auxiliary 02, Articulating Anes display arm vertical configured monitor mount, AGSS active low flow diss outlet conn, suct reg 3 mode diss pipeline fitting, third cylinder factory installed kit-N2O Pin and flowmeter with site specific accessories REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this Request for Information is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g. set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post in the near future. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: Please respond to this RFI if you can provide the exact brand name products listed in the table in the background section above. In the response please cite your business size status. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS RFI IF YOU CAN PROVIDE SUPPLIES THAT CAN BE DETERMINED EXACT TO THE PRODUCTS LISTED IN THE TABLE IN THE BACKGROUND SECTION ABOVE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUBMITTING VENDOR TO PROVIDE DETAILS ON THE PROPOSED EXACT PRODUCTS, TO INCLUDE MANUFACTURER NAME, PART NUMBER, AND DESCRIPTION AND ITEM SUPPORT. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Small Business Manufacturers. If your company is a small business manufacturer of same items, please respond to this RFI. The equipment must be brand name only due to other existing GE machines in use at the VAMC.
