- 9. DESCRIPTION: (see reminder notes below) This is a pre-solicitation notice. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for CPP OD box repair services performed onboard a forward deployed vessel at U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Det. Sasebo, Japan. This acquisition will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Rolls-Royce Marine, or an authorized distributor, per FAR 6.302-1. The period of performance is 12 February 2018 ~ 16 March 2018. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the GPE on or about 19 January 2018 with quotes due by 26 January 2018. This firm-fixed-price service type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FLC Puget Sound. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Emailed completed solicitations are acceptable.
