- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE : This is NOT a request for proposal. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Air Force Base, FL announces the anticipated release of the solicitation for PAVING, IDIQ for Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and various 45th Space Wing Facilities. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, material, and equipment required to perform roadway, parking lot, and airfield pavement work with underground utility work. Performance period is expected to be one base year and four one-year option years. Solicitation issue date is anticipated on or around 6 Feb 2018 with an anticipated proposal closing date of 9 Mar 2018. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 237310/$36.5M. The disclosure of magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(g). The minimum award guaranteed amount will be $25,000 with a maximum ordering value not to exceed $9.6M. The solicitation is 100% set-aside to Small Businesses under the aforementioned NAICS code. Contract award will be based on a "best value continuum" analysis using past performance and price trade-off procedures. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of the solicitation. All solicitation information can be obtained through the above referenced website. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
