- Solicitation - Air Cooled Chillers SCOPE OF WORK 1.0 SCOPE Contractor shall provide all design, engineering, labor, material, equipment and supervision in accordance with all applicable codes and these specifications to: 1) Purchase and Deliver 2 - 100 TON Air Cooled Chillers to USMA, West Point, NY. USMA will take ownership of units upon delivery. 2.0 DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK Contractor shall purchase, deliver, inspect, test and supply start up for 2 - 100 TON Air Cooled Chillers. Units will be installed at Bldg. 603 Officers Club USMA, West Point NY 10996. Installation of Chillers will be performed by the Government. 1. The 100 ton units will have the following specs: • Power Supply to be 460V/3PH/60HZ • Single Point Series 16 Cam-Lok Connections • 4" QC Connections(Supply/Return) • Three Independent Refrigeration Circuits • Three 38HP Copeland Scroll Compressors with Suction Accumulator on each circuit • Hot gas bypass on each circuit • Industrial DX Shell & Tube evaporator • 2x3 fan configuration with (6) Low noise fan blades & motors as well as Yasgawa Brand VFD control with optional bypass switch to run off standard fan cycle switching • 0.006" thick hydrophilic coated, non-lanced aluminum condenser fins • Integral hydronic components including: o 15HP process pump designed to deliver 240gpm @ 130'TDH  Capable of flow from 160 to 300 gpm o Triple duty valve o Suction Strainer o Suction isolation valve o Valving to allow bypass of pump o Vibration isolator on suction & discharge of pump o Nema 4 Flow Switch • Stainless steel hardware with nylon lock-nuts • Unit capable of operating between +10°F to 105°F ambient temperatures Package Features: • Phase monitor and Incorrect phase indicator light (red) • Flow switch with No Flow light • Circuit Breakers on all motors • Condenser fan VFD's allow for operation in varying ambient conditions • High and low pressure safety switches • R-410a refrigerant • Full tubular rental frame with fork pockets & tie-down points - Hot-dipped galvanized • Overhead certified lift frame • Entering and leaving air temperature sensors • Quiet operation • Optional automatic air vents • Standard vent/drain connections • Separated 460V/120V control panels
