- Solicitation Number: W912P5-18-B-0010 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation for Center Hill Restoration IFB Synopses: USACE Nashville District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for this requirement. This is a Presolicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The plans and technical specifications for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB),W912P518B0010, for the Center Hill Restoration projected located in Lancaster, Tennessee. This construction project consists of the following construction activities: restoring Eisenhower Park, main dam work platform reconfiguration, erosion control, culvert replacement and grading, concrete pavement and paving with asphalt overlay, stormwater drainage improvements and some erosion control mitigation on the ends of the dam. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice, the full solicitation with all drawings and specifications is expected to be issued in March 2018. A tentative site visit is scheduled for 29 March 2018 at 10:00 AM CDT, participants will meet at: Center Hill Dam, 270 Lancaster Road, Lancaster, TN 38569. This tentative site visit date is subject to change. Please reference the solicitation, when issued, for the official site visit information. There will be one organized site visit. No other site visit will be permitted. The solicitation will contain detailed instructions pertaining to registering to attend the site visit. Registration to attend the site visit will be required and there will be a deadline to submit registration information. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 NAICS CODE: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction SBA SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 million. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Set Aside PSC: C20 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor the FBO website for any amendments, updates, responses to industry questions/comments, etc. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. The project location has special security requirements that will be identified in the solicitation.
