- Market Survey This Sources Sought Notice is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the US Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for the preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by the respondents to this notices is strictly voluntary. DLA Maritime-Mechanicsburg is preparing to solicit a 5-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ - See FAR 16.504.) Anticipated Contract Structure is 2 Year Base Period, plus 3 option periods. NAICS code 336611 applies. NSN: 2090 01-573-7200 Description: TILE 24X36 Estimated Yearly Quantity: 1,300 Approved Source/Cage Code/Reference Number: Marine Polymers, 1K3G5, EB4461STD1 The following AMC/AMSC applies to all the above NSN's. AMC 3 = Acquire directly from actual manufacturer. AMSC C = This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. If one source is approved, AMC's 3, 4 or 5 are valid. If at least two sources are approved or if data is adequate for an alternate source to qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, AMCs 1 or 2 are valid.
