- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Aviation, seeks to negotiate and award a follow contract to the existing Northrop Grumman Umbrella contract, SPM4AX-09-D-9403. This new contract would be an Indefinite Quantity type contract, with a base plus 4 option years. All Northrop Grumman CAGE codes will be eligible for addition to contract as subsumables under the umbrella. Sole source Northrop Grumman items and services, to include but not limited to consumables, depot level repairable items, and repair services managed by DLA would be eligible for addition to contract. The initial contract phase will consist contain on time delivery metric(s). Future phases may involve additional metrics such as material availability and system up-time under supplier initiated ordering models or performance based logistics services. This acquisition will be conducted using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated award date is FY2017 and the estimated value is $48 million based on the 10 year duration and will be funded by the Defense Working Capital Fund. Responses to this announcement, from other than the OEM, are required by 12 February 2018 to the POCs outlined below and should include evidence of ability to achieve the outcomes described herein.
