- SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS: The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price, Restricted to OEM AIRGAS USA, LLC (CAGE CODE: 6PGV7) or authorized distributor to procure VISE GRIP GROUND, ARGON HOSE, and JUMPER GROUND (see solicitation for details) to be delivered to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 333992(Welding and soldering equipment, miscellaneous welding, soldering and metalizing equipment.) The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: VISE GRIP GROUND 100 EA AIRGAS P/N: NWSNNSYGROUND ORDERING DATA: SPECIALLY DESIGNED GROUND CLAMP THAT HAS A MALE CAM-LOK ON ONE END ATTACHED TO A #2 CABLE WITH A 90 AMP LUG THAT IS ATTACHED TO A 6R VISE GRIP. BOTH ENDS ARE SHRINK WRAPPED. CLIN 0002: ARGON HOSE 400 EA AIRGAS P/N: NWSNNSYHOSE ORDERING DATA: HOSE 50 FT. THIS EQUIPMENT IS USED FOR TIG WELDING. CLIN 0003: JUMPER GROUND 50 EA AIRGAS P/N: KMN02T1010BX3X3932 ORDERING DATA: SPECIALLY DESIGNED JUMPER GROUND ASSEMBLY THAT HAS TWO MUELLER 100 AMP ELECTRICAL CLIPS AND 90 AMP LUGS ATTACHED TO BOTH ENDS OF A 10FT #2 CABLE. BOTH ENDS ARE SHRINK WRAPPED AND THE CABLE HAS "NNSY JUMPER" STAMPED ON IT. CABLE ASSEMBLY #2 TOUGHFLEX 10FT SECTION WITH LUG AND MUELLER 100 AMP 21C BOTH ENDS HEAT SHRINK TUBING AT CABLE AND LUG. This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-18-Q-0037 and it is expected to be posted on or around JANUARY 31, 2018. Quotes will be due by 04:00 pm EST on or around FEBRUARY 8, 2018 and may be emailed to the attention of Edgar Montesramirez at edgar.montesramirez@dla.mil. Please make sure that the solicitation number (SPMYM1-18-Q-0037) is included in the subject line of any email correspondence. Emails without subject lines will not be read because of security issues. Vendors must answer all evaluation factors for their bids to be considered viable. Award will be based on Total Lowest Price technically acceptable and fastest delivery. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
