Description
Description: NAWCAD 4.11.2, Combat Integration and Identification Systems Division, has been tasked by the Naval Air Traffic Management Systems Program Office (PMA213) to provide cradle-to-grave support for the OE-120( )/UPX Antenna Group, which is part of the AN/UPX-29(V) Interrogator System that provides target identification for the Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) combat system. NAWCAD 4.11.2 has been identified as the field activity for the AN/UPX-29(V), and as such is responsible for maintaining the approximately 150 OE-120( )/UPX antenna in the U.S. Navy fleet, as well as 12 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) commissioned ships. As the field activity responsible for the OE-120( )/UPX, NAWCAD 4.11.2 support includes providing INCO spares to shipyards which are used to replace inoperative or defective parts. After a part is removed from an INCO kit, a replacement must be available to replenish the INCO kit to ensure delays in construction do not occur. NAWCAD 4.11.2 requires these OE-120( )/UPX antenna replacement parts to be form, fit, and function equivalent to currently fielded OE-120( )/UPX antenna. These components must also abide by the military specifications, military standards, and physical and performance requirements outlined in MIL-DTL-29563A. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice. The Point of Contact is Mr. Andrew Kolpack, Andrew.kolpack@navy.mil, Code 2.5.2.4.2AK, (732) 323-2772.
