The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220, and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. Agency/Office: National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Location: 100 Bureau Dr, Gaithersburg, MD Title: Chlorine Etcher Construction and Installation at NIST Gaithersburg, MD Description(s): The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This requirement is set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220, and the size standard is $36,500,000.00. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of 120 days after notice to proceed is issued. The contract is for the installation of a chlorine etcher tool at the NIST Gaithersburg, Maryland's Advanced Measurement Laboratory. This procurement will result in the award of Single Award Firm Fixed Price contract. The specific tasks pursuant to this effort are described in the Statement of Work and specifications included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about February 15, 2018, using FAR Parts 15 Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect -- Engineer Contracts. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed price contract on or about May 1, 2018. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained.
