- REDACTED J&A Excalibur Engineering Services The nature of this Justification and Approval (J&A) is for a new engineering services contract to support the Excalibur program. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Task Orders, was awarded with the maximum cost expenditure amount of $95,000,000.00. The ordering periof of this contract is for five (5) years. The purpose of this effort is to address various Excalibur requirements to include: Cost Reduction Initiatives, System Engineering, Life Cycle Sustainment, Training Models, Reliability Growth, Engineering Lab Support, Software Changes, System Safety Analysis, Producibility Efforts, Other Production Support, and Development and Qualification efforts related to potential international interoperability activities.
