Description

Statement of Work Walk-in Cooler for Springfield CBOC Lab Background Information Custom walk-in cooler is required for the activation of the Springfield CBOC Laboratory in Springfield MO. This cooler will be utilized to store reagents, Quality Control materials, Calibrators, etc. The cooler is to be installed in room 1C122A (Lab Refrigerated Storage Room) dimensions are 10 -5 ¾ (north to south) by 8 1 (east to west), with a floor to ceiling height of 8 - 10 that includes a 4 depression in the floor Scope Requirements: Minimum interior dimension: 9 5 ¾ W x 7 1 D x 8 10 H Must be NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) approved Must be compliant with Federal Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 Redundant outdoor rated cooling condensers that automatically switch if one fails. Interior floor aluminum treadplate at least 0.125 thick Insulated embossed vertical walls, ceiling & floor with vapor barrier and sealants 36 s 78 hinged door Interior ramp Interior light Unit designed to approximately 37o F for storage Alarmed if temperature is too high, too low or if door is left ajar Digital temperature display on exterior of cooler Temperature chart recorder on exterior of cooler Custom installation and trim Charging the system with refrigerant Refrigeration system should be rated for outdoor locations. Warranty 5 years compressors & system parts and 1 year labor Contractor Requirement Vendor will be responsible for making electrical connections. Installation in the Springfield MO CBOC Laboratory the week of 4-2-2018 and 4-6-2018 in the Lab Refrigerated Storage Room, 1C122A. Installation will be coordinated with Engineering Service & the Springfield CBOC Laboratory Manager. Contractor may only be on site during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 0800 1630.
