- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is requesting assistance from industry in obtaining information in regards to the capabilities of business entities, standard industry practices/availability, and the potential for small business participation in preparation of a future/anticipated requirement/solicitation for the fabrication and delivery of hydrophone stave assemblies in support of U.S. Navy Submarine Acoustic Stealth programs. The purpose of this posting is to provide information and a market research questionnaire for industry review/completion. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award of a contract/task order will NOT be made as a result of this posting & questionnaire. References (a) and (b) to this Sources Sought Notice are provided to offer background information, performance specifications, and drawings required to satisfy the requirement; and to solicit comments and questions from potential offerors/interested parties. Interested parties/potential offerors are encouraged to review the attached posting and references provided, and respond with questions and comments as soon as possible in order to allow for Government review during the acquisition strategy phase of the procurement process. All questions, comments, and completed questionnaires must be submitted electronically in writing via email to gracie.johnson@navy.mil prior to the posting closing date of 28 February 2018.
