- The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Division of Job Corps, intends to award a sole source contract modification to Career Systems Development Corp., (CSD) located at 75 Thruway Park Dr., No. 100, West Henrietta, NY 14586-9795. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of the requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide. The subject requirement requires the contractor to continue to provide material, services, and all necessary personnel to operate a Job Corps Center with Outreach/Admissions program and a Career Transition Services program as set forth in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014 and the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook. The contractor shall be expected to recruit and screen sufficient numbers of applicants to generate sufficient numbers of arrivals to maintain the Cassadaga Job Corps Center at average on board strength of 100% of design capacity. The anticipated period of performance is a two (2) months however may extend for a total of six months. This is a Special Notice of the Intent to award sole source contract modification. It is published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the Notice of Intent to sole source are anticipated. All questions or comments regarding this notice shall be addressed in writing to Steven A.
