- Brand Name Justification 918th CBN Contracting Office located at Ft. Carson has requirement of 40 Remote Lighting Systems. See below for the salient characteristics. The equipment is the Pelican model 9490 RALS, which includes 40 additional spare batteries and custom fitted system carrying cases. The requirement also includes following warranties: lifetime replacement on each system carrying cases; 5 year replacement of the model 9490 RALS; and 1 year replacement coverage of batteries and electrical components. This is BRAND NAME specific requirement as attached in this solicitation. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The solicitation and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at the Government website http://www.fbo.gov/index. No paper copies will be issued. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All prospective vendors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov under the proposed NAICS code. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses.
