- Statement of Work for TSL Security Upgrades The Department of Homeland Security has a requirement for the acquisition of Security Upgrades for the DHS, S&T Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL). This Scope of Work defines the physical security system components and labor needed to secure the entire Transportation Security Lab "TSL" complex, to the mandated LEVEL III Federal Facility Standards. Successful completion of this effort will insure compatibility and interoperability with DHS Headquarters physical security standards, equipment and practices incorporated into the design and construction of the recently commissioned TSL Independent Test & Evaluation Laboratory. In accordance with FAR 5.1 and 5.2, this synopsis is to notify companies that the Government intends to issue a Request for Proposal utilizing full and open competition to all qualified vendors to provide the required services. This RFP will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. The period of performance for this effort is 12 months from date of award.
