- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to extend the term of the contract with CCH, Incorporated for an additional 12 months option period. The IRS has a continued need for the customized research and sales tax data, both State and local, to developing data for the Office of Data Research from CCH, Incorporated using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures not to exceed $150,000. The data is required to create optional sales tax tables that will be made available to the taxpayer for 2018 filing season. Period of performance is date of award through January 31, 2019. This notice of intent to issue a modification to the current contract with CCH, Incorporated on a firm fixed price via FAR 52.217-9--Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Potential sources who believe they can provide the service listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to faith.m.ashton@irs.gov not later than 12:00 p.m. February 8, 2018. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Award is anticipated no later than February 20, 2018.
