Description

USACE Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project located at 3800 Laurance Road, North Pole, Alaska 99705 requires one (1) new lattice boom crawler crane that can perform both duty cycle (debris baling) and heavy lift (flood gate) operations. This sources sought is for the purchase and delivery of one (1) lattice boom crawler crane that meets the following specification requirements: •130 to 150 ton capacity •Heavy Lift Requirement Minimums: Lift a 100,000 pound gate with rigging and maneuver the load within a 29 foot diameter by 32 foot tall vertical cylinder with a hook height of 50 feet. •Duty Cycle Requirements Minimums: 125 foot boom at an 85 foot radius and lift capacity of 16,000 pounds. •Retractable crawlers with a maximum width of 14 feet when fully retracted. •Minimum line pull of 70,000 pound-force free fall. •34 X 7 rotation resistant auxiliary wire rope. •Rope length: two (2) 300 foot lengths for duty cycle work; One (1) 400 foot length for 2-part heavy lifts. •Arctic package for operations as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
