- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Installation Contracting Office at Fort Stewart, Georgia anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Invitation for Bid (IFB) to install grounding for motor pool building 4578. Solicitation Number W9124M-18-B-0004 will be available for downloading on or about 16 FEB 2015. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All bidders must register with the System for Award Management (sam.gov) per FAR 52.204-7. The solicitation is 100% set aside for qualifying HUBZone firms under NAICS code 238210 (Size Standard $15M). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. Contract performance time is 90 days from Notice to Proceed. MICC- Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include a CD with all required documents and one paper copy of each bid. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Wilson Ave Ste 100 Fort Stewart, GA 31314-3322 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor will furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with the project. All work will be completed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: 1. Install new ground rods and underground grounding conductors. Install ground connection points. 2. Demolish interfering concrete curbs and bollards. Provide new curb as indicated. 3. Test conductivity of the new ground system as described by the specifications.
