- 18Q0059_sol N0016418Q0059 - SOLE SOURCE - SEAL ASSEMBLY - FSC/PSC 5330 - NAICS 339991 Issue Date 1 FEB 2018 - Closing Date 07 FEB 2018 - Time 02:00 P.M. EST This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N0016418Q0059 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT - The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Wartsila Defense, Inc., 3617 Koppens Way, Chesapeake, VA 23323, CAGE CODE: OEYA6. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Base Award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for the following: Base Award CLIN 0001 QTY: 30 each, Seal Assembly PN: 5974788 In accordance with Statement of Work, Specifications, Drawings and CDRL A001 and A002. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. The anticipated award date is February 16, 2018. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. Vendor must be certified in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to access Specs and Drawings. JCP Website: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/default.aspx All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
