- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT-2 IS TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE TO RECEIVE BIDS ARE FROM FEBRUARY 1, 2018 TO FEBRUARY 13, 2018 NOT LATER THAN 1:00pm EASTERN TIME. THIS IS DUE TO PENDING RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS AND REVISIONS TO THE RFP SOLICITATION. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE TO RECEIVE BIDS ARE FROM JANUARY 26, 2018 TO FEBRUARY 1, 2017 NOT LATER THAN 4:00pm EASTERN TIME. THIS IS AN INVITATION FOR BID AND [TOTAL HUB-ZONE] SET-ASIDE ONLY QUALIFIED OFFERORS MAY SUBMIT BIDS. The U.S. Department of State intends to award one contract by conducting an Total HubZone set-aside competition procurement for a contractor to provide OVERSEAS PERSONNEL SYSTEMS (OPS) DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT prepared in accordance with the format in accordance with FAR Part 12. The government plans to award a single contract award as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offerors, whose proposals conform to this synopsis/solicitation. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial items. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The full text of a FAR clause may be accessed electronically at https://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 120 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. All questions regarding this solicitation will be entertained no later than 12:00 PM EST, Thursday January 4, 2018 to Lawanna Bradley via email at BradleyLR@state.gov. No phone calls shall be accepted. Quotes should be submitted via e-mail to Lawanna Bradley via email at BradleyLR@state.gov no later than closing date of solicitation 4:00pm Eastern Time, Friday, January 26, 2018.
