- The RFQ has been extended to 1:00PM Tuesday February 6, 2018. In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA ™s decision to use brand name only, limited competition procedures. The FAA intends to compete the BPA requirement for one year of Oracle software maintenance on a limited basis among the following companies that have been provided directly by Oracle as authorized vendors: BIAS Corporation Mythics, Inc. immixTechnology, Inc. Alliance Technology Group DLT Solutions LLC Sterling Computers Corporation Lancer Information Solutions Dynamic Systems, Inc The above vendors will be sent a Request for Quote. Award will be made using small acquisition procedures and will be based on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. The award resulting from this request will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), to be utilized by the FAA and the Department of Transportation (DOT). This notification covers the BPA and the 866,569 FAA and DOT software licenses that will be renewed for maintenance under it. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
