Description

This document represents formal notice of the Social Security Administration's intent to procure additional quantities and maintenance of CSI VSUM software on a sole source basis from Connectivity Systems, Inc. and its' authorized resellers. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed priced contract with a 6-month base period and four 1-year option periods. The period of performance will be from 04/01/2018 to 09/30/2022. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
