- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA2521-18-B-0003 being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice. This solicitation is being offered to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms; all others will be deemed non responsive. Contract award will be based on Sealed Bid - FAR Part 14. In accordance with FAR Part 14.408(a)(3); award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the website at www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website. Title: Repair Sewage Lift Station, Bldg. 350, Patrick AFB, Florida Project Number: SXHT 10-1051 Place of performance: Patrick Air Force Base, Florida 32925 Brief description of work: The work to be performed under this project is to furnish all management, personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to repair and replace the sanitary sewer service pipe connected from Bldg. 350 and re-route it into Lift Station 326 located near Bldg. 352. Installation methods will include, but are not limited to, conventional open trenching, asphalt pavement, curb, and concrete sidewalk cutting. This requirement also involves connecting existing portions of existing sanitary pipe coming out of east side of Bldg. 350, including two waste lines and one grease line discharge, from existing grease trap at existing invert elevations to remain in service. Restore paved and unpaved surface to near original conditions as necessary. Additionally, the requirement calls for the existing Lift Station 350 to be demolished and disposed of. NAICS Code: 237110 Size Standard: $36.5M Magnitude of Effort: Between $250,000 and $500,000. IFB will be available on or about 16 Feb 18. This project has a prebid site visit. The performance period for this project will be 60 calendar days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award. This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.1405 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid. The Invitation for Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
