- DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, necessary for the design and replacement of three existing air-cooled chillers, described here as the project called Design-Build Replace Chillers at the Viera Out Patient Clinic in accordance with the solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), and specifications. The project requires a complete installation of water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, and all associated supporting equipment. Project No./Title: 675-18-151/Design-Build Replace Chillers at Viera Work Location: Viera Out Patient Clinic, 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL 32940 Estimated Target Completion Period: 570 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Size Standard is $15 Million. Product Service Code Y1DZ This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 1, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
