- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation RFQ-36C25018Q0345 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-94, 2005-95/ 01-19-2017. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 519130 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. STATEMENT OF NEED VHA requires RN triage in all ED/UICC s consistent with ENA position statement dated February 2011. Triage Qualifications, and the use of the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) as the sole triage tool. Triage Nurses should have orientation/educational training on the use of the 5 tier ESI triage system and competency validation. VHA requires a program that enhances practice improvement, orientation of clinicians, supplies continuing education and competency documentation. VHA is looking to purchase Emergency Nursing Triage training and the ENA: Emergency Nursing Triage Knowledge Inventory Tool, for the use of 15 nurses. The training course contains 18 lessons and the ENA: Emergency Nursing Triage Knowledge Inventory Tool contains a 100 question exam to test learners knowledge. Brand name or equal to: 1) One Year Subscription to Elsevier Clinical eLearning: ENA Emergency Nursing Triage (15 employee user access) 2) One Year Subscription to Elsevier Clinical eLearning: ENA Emergency Nursing Triage Knowledge Inventory Tool (Kit) The proposed contract listed here is being competed unrestricted. Deliver to VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.203-98, 52.204-22 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items: FAR provision 52.212-2 does not apply to this solicitation.
