Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Channel to Victoria and Channel to Seadrift, Pipeline Dredging in Calhoun County, Texas. The work consists of Schedule No. 1 - Pipeline dredging of the Channel to Victoria Lower Reach approximately 640,000 cubic yards of dredge material. Option No. 1 - Pipeline dredging Channel to Victoria, Sections 9-14 approximately 460,000 cubic yards of dredge material, Option No. 2 - Pipeline dredging Channel to Seadrift approximately 450,000 CY; Option No. 3 - Rehabilitation of outfall structures at PA 1, rehabilitation work may include sandblast and paint structures, replacement of walkway, and/or minor earth work. Completion time for Schedule No. 1 is 67 calendar days/12,000 CY per day. Completion time for Options if exercised is as follows: Option No. 1, 45 calendar days, Option No. 2, 48 calendar days and Option No. 3, 60 calendar days. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $3,610.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The contractor shall commence work within (10) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00. The solicitation is advertised as "Unrestricted" full and open competition for both large and small businesses. The Solicitation will be Issued on or about 23 February 2018. Response date is 26 March 2018 @ 2:00 PM (Electronic bids only via AMRDEC Safe). The estimated award date for this project is April 2018. ATTENTION TO OFFEROR(s)/CONTRACTOR(s): On July 14, 2014, Small Business Administration (SBA) increased the monetary-based industry size standards to account for inflation. You must update your Representations (Reps) and Certifications (Certs) for the impacted North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes identified with an exclamation point "!" next to the "Small Business" value in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please log into SAM, review, and resubmit your registration to apply the new size standard. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million.
