- Draft Specifications Plan Sheets Part 1 Plan Sheet Part 2 Draft RFP Rehabilitate Exterior Envelope and Historic Elements of the Old Santa Fe Trail Building, OSTB 200486 Description(s): The National Park Service will be holding an Industry Day at the Old Santa Fe Trail Building regarding the upcoming project to the Rehabilitation of the Exterior Envelope and Historic Elements of the Building. Date/Time: Thursday, February 22, 2018, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm All attendees are required to go through building security check point. Please allow 15-minutes for security check point. Location: 1100 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505. Purpose: Provide an opportunity for all interested contractors and subcontractors to tour the building prior to release of the final solicitation documents. NPS personnel will be on site to facilitate tours of the building and grounds. Draft solicitation documents are included with this notice. Please direct all questions, comments, and concerns regarding the draft documents in writing to jason_longshore@nps.gov RSVP to the Industry Day is requested by February 20, 2018 via email to jason_longshore@nps.gov. Project Details: Rehabilitate Exterior Envelope and Historic Elements of the Old Santa Fe Trail Building (OSTB 200486) NAICS Code: 236220 Estimated Cost Range: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 Estimated Period of Performance: 6/2018-6/2019 Anticipated Award 5/2018) The Old Santa Fe Trail Building, constructed between 1937 and 1939, is a National Historic Landmark (NHL). NHLs are designated by the Secretary of the Interior under the authority of the Historic Sites Act of 1935, which authorizes the Secretary to identify historic buildings which "possess exceptional value as commemorating or illustrating the history of the United States." Section 110(f) of the National Historic Preservation Act requires that Federal agencies exercise a higher standard of care when considering undertakings that may directly affect NHLs. The law requires that agencies, "to the maximum extent possible, undertake such planning and actions as may be necessary to minimize harm to such landmark. "This is not a request for proposal or invitation to bid. There is no bid package, solicitation, specification or drawings available with this announcement.
