This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in one or more of the following: (1) operating commercial grade (i.e., construction) sand and gravel pits; (2) dredging for commercial grade sand and gravel; and (3) washing, screening, or otherwise preparing commercial grade sand and gravel. The federal supply code of this procurement is 9620 - Minerals, Natural, and Synthetic The Government contemplates award of a 3 Year, firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract. Supply Description: # 6 Coarse Sand, Playground. 80 pound individual bags. MIN Guarantee: 243,200 pounds MAX: 9,630,720 pounds. MIN Order: 243,200 pounds MUST MEET SPECIFICATIONS TO BE ISSUED WITH SOLICITATION Type of Set A Side: 100% Small Buisness FOB Destination McAlester, OK. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/ or contact SAM at 866-606-8220 prior to doing business with the DOD. Approximate issues date of the solicitation is 10 Feb 2018 with a closing date approximately 7 - 30 days from the date of issue.
