Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Iowa City, IA, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority FAR 6.302-3 with the University of Iowa for the period of 10/1/2017 to 9/30/2018 for The Contractor was specifically identified under the Review process for grant, 'Identification and Treatment of Brain Regions Causing Post-Traumatic Headache', B2010-W, PI: Levi Sowers, PhD. Failure to utilize the requested contractor would violate the terms and conditions listed in the project. The research cannot be conducted without utilizing the requested contractor. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing these services to the Contracting Officer via e-mail at gary.rogers4@va.gov or fax 319-358-6430. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Request for quotes 36C26318Q0314 for above requirement, NAICS 611310, size standard $33.5 million will be issued on 9/1/2017. The deadline to submit a quote is 9/15/2017.
