- 2018 NC3 Workshop #1 Announcement_Ver 7_6 Feb 18 Mark your Calendars and don't miss this NC3 Workshop with the Air Force Global Strike Command in the spring of 2018! This technology engagement is seeking senior-level technical participants from industry and academic research organizations. Industry includes both large and small businesses, and the academic community includes all government sponsored and private institutes of higher learning. The 2018 NC3 Concept and Challenges Workshop #1 is a two-day event at the Cyber Innovation Center (6300 East Texas Street, Bossier City, Louisiana) that allows the opportunity for senior government leaders and officials to provide relevant updates and information throughout to NC3 industry contractors, program managers, and experts at the Secret level. The primary purpose of this workshop series is to allow communication between AFGSC and other Air Force and DoD partners, industry, academia, and trusted partners (FFRDCs and UARCs) on the topic of near-term NC3 updates and potential technology options. These events will help shape non-DoD NC3 investments and bring needed technology options to the DoD's NC3 modernization effort. The first day establishes an information baseline through NC3 status and modernization briefings as well as National Leader Command Capability (NLCC) presentations. The second day will allow industry, academic, and trusted partner (non-DOD) attendees to ask questions for clarification or further explore the topic information from day one. The format of the second day will be one large group open Q&A session with all attendees due to an overwhelming number of requests for one-on-one sessions.
