Description

Intent to Sole Source The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 10) intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Golden Gardens, Indianapolis, IN. The procurement is to provide Adult Day Health Care Service for a period of 3 months. This facility currently provides this service and this contract is being put in place to avoid a gap in service until a full solicitation can be prepared and posted. This procurement will be made under the authority of Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.302-1 and implemented under Subpart 13.5. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 623110. Golden Gardens is considered a small business. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. The Government plans to award a contract for this requirement within 7 days of this notice. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be received by the Contracting Officer, Miriam LeMaitre, by email at Miriam.lemaitre@va.gov no later than 11:00 AM EST, February 13, 2018. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
