- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source Fixed Price Contract to BAE Systems Global Combat Systems Munitions Limited, Glascoed, Usk, Monmouthshire, NP15 1XL United Kingdom for the procurement and engineering services for the inert Follow-Through Bombs (FTBs) and inert Augmenting Charges (ACs) for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. BAE is the original designer, developer and manufacturer of the multi-stage broach warhead for the AGM-154, as such, owns the proprietary data that is required to perform the efforts under this requirement. THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
