THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT/SYNOPSIS PURPOSES ONLY: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.2. The scope of this requirement consists of furnishing Very High Frequency (VHF) radios. Description: CLIN 0001: VHF Base Station CLIN 0002: VHF Vehicle Mounted Station CLIN 0003: VHF Mobile Radio NAICS Code: 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,250 employees. Federal Supply Code: 5820 Radio TV Equipment, Except Airborne. Anticipated Contract Award Date is 28 Sep 18. Small Business: NOT APPLICABLE IAW FAR 19.000(b). THIS ACTION IS FOR OCONUS REQUIREMENTS Your response shall include the following information: Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Please fill out the attached Capability statement. These are the minimum capabilities that need to be provided for this requirement. The delivery location will be further defined on each delivery order. However this will be an Afghanistan wide Contract for the Afghan National Police/Ministry of Interior's (ANP/MOI). This will be a single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The estimated contract value is between $3,500.00 minimum and Not-to-Exceed $80,000,000.00 for the life of the contract (five (5) year ordering period with no options). The minimum delivery order will be $3,500 and maximum $15,000,000. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.sam.gov IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
