Description

This notice is prepared in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.207 and is not a request for quote/proposal (RFQ/RFP). 70Z03818QC0000036 is assigned for tracking purposes only. This is a notice of the Government's intent to award one (1) purchase order with firm-fixed prices on a limited sources basis in accordance with the attached Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (J&A). Sources are limited to Tactair Fluid Controls, Liverpool, NY or Frazier Aviation, San Fernando, CA for overhaul of HC-130H/J Hydraulic Boost Assemblies. This requirement has been determined to be commercial in nature IAW FAR 2.101. The period of performance will begin on the date of award through final delivery. Set-aside: Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA), 41. U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B). The Contracting Officer has determined that there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns therefore the small business set-aside is dissolved. This requirement is unrestricted. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
