Description
The purpose of this contract is to provide facility maintenance, repair and custodial operations for HEADQUARTERS, U.S. ARMY AVIATION CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (USAACE), Building 101, Novosel Street, Fort Rucker, Alabama and the SOLDIER SERVICE CENTER, Building 5700, Novosel Street, Fort Rucker, Alabama. Contractor will also provide custodial and grounds maintenance service for the COMBAT READINESS CENTER, Building 4905, Ruff Avenue and Building 1500 on Engineer Road. Facility operations are intended to maintain a safe and effective physical environment in which Command Administrative service and quality customer service can be provided. The U.S. ARMY AVIATION CENTER HEADQUARTERS contains approximately 55,189 square feet in three floors all of which is included under these specifications. The SOLDIER SERVICE CENTER contains approximately 129,000 square feet in three floors all of which is included under these specifications. The COMBAT READINESS CENTER Building 4905 contains approximately 63,022 square feet in two floors. Building 1500 contains approximately 3700 square feet and approximately 5.4 acres of grounds. The intent of this contract is to provide an orderly, well planned operating and maintenance program, incorporating provisions for prompt, decisive actions on all operating and maintenance needs, including non-repetitive jobs, to achieve the maximum benefits from systems and assure a longer equipment life.
