- NSN 7R-6115-012015740-RX, TDP VER 003, QTY 16 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-18-R-P147 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit ESSEX ELECTRO ENGINEERS, INC. (21269), SAVANNAH APPARATUS REPAIR CO, INC (06TM4), and RAM INDUSTRIAL SERVICES, LLC (52KU6) for the repair of an alternator generator. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed repair contract. This contract will include the repair of the following part: NSN: 7RH 6615-012015740 RX ITEM NM: GENERATOR, ALTERNATI P/N: a624-3117 QTY: 16 The government intends to contract on a limited competitive basis with the above mentioned sources. They are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known sources for providing repair support of the above repair part. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334412. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only limited responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Based on the market research, the Government's need cannot be met by a type of item customarily available in the marketplace. FAR Part 12 shall not be used. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Christine Pennington, Contracting Officer, Code (N762.06), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Approved sources will be solicited on or after 22 FEB 2018 and the solicitationwill close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
