- Scope Summary: National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia (NTESS) is seeking construction contractors to perform construction only of an approximately 9,500 total gross square foot (GSF), single story data center building at Sandia National Laboratories located in Livermore, California. Major data center building features will include: secure data server raised computer floor room of approximately 8,000 GSF, including associated site work, site utilities connections, primary and back-up mechanical and electrical equipment / systems, equipment building / yard, restrooms, and a systems operations center. General: Interested contractors shall maintain or be willing to establish and maintain a place of business within a 100-mile radius of the project site. Interested contractors shall have a minimum five (5) years of experience in the capacity of a Prime Contractor managing projects similar to the scope summary outlined in this posting. License(s): Interested contractors and / or their lower tiered subcontractors shall have the following valid California licenses: General Building Contractor (B), Electrical Contractor (C10), Fire Protection Contractor (C16), Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (C20). Bonding: Interested contractors shall have minimum $12,000,000 bonding capacity per job, minimum $15,000,000 aggregate capacity. Experience Modification Rating (EMR): Interested contractors’ California EMR shall be less than one (1) for the past four (4) years. System for Award Management and iSupplier Registration: Interested contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management via SAM.gov with North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and shall identify any applicable small business status under the NAICS code. Interested contractors shall not presently be on the Government Debarred List as debarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment. Interested contractors shall register to do business with NTESS via its Supplier Registration site available at: http://www.sandia.gov/working_with_sandia/prospective_suppliers/supplier_registration.html
