Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price for preventive maintenance and/or corrective maintenance services for the Da Vinci Surgical Robotic System S/N SH1519, EE# 160139 and Da Vinci Surgical Robotic System S/N SK1394, MX# 1549787. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 8.405-2 for the aforementioned requirement based on the application of FAR 8.405- 6(a)(1)(i)(B). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of this requirement. This determination is in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures and in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
