Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Naval War College, Contracting Division, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to CCP Inc. Under the authority of USC 2304(c) (1) pursuant to FAR 6.202-1(a) (2), the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. Even though a Firm-Fixed Price/Sole Source Contract is anticipated, firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer, Jason Hewitt, Email: Jason.hewitt@usnwc.edu A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Naval Senior Enlisted Academy, Naval War College, has a requirement for MBTI Certification which has been used in the SEA Faculty Development and has been incorporated in the SEA Program of Instruction. The written Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N00124-18-Q-0137, and is anticipated to be released on or about February 23, 2018. It will be posted at www.neco.navy.mil and https: www.fbo.gov. PROCEDURES FOR SOLICITATION/AWARD This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 611430 with a small business standard of $11M. Interested parties may obtain a copy of this SF 1449 at the following websites: https://www.neco.navyy.mil and www.fbo.gov. Even though the intent is for a sole source contract, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
