- REPLACE HVAC EQUIPMENT IN THE FALLS CITY, OREGON AIR ROUTE SURVEILLANCE RADAR BUILDING (QFL ARSR) AT LAUREL MOUNTAIN POINT OF CONTACT: CARLA BRAWLEY, CONTRACTING OFFICER 817 703-8667 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified small business HVAC contractors interested in providing offers for the work described below General Statement of Work: Replace HVAC equipment in the QFL ARSR building at Laurel Mountain. Remove (2) existing 2-ton wall mounted package HVAC s and replace them with (2) new 2-ton wall mounted package units. Remove (2) existing 10-ton package HVAC units and replace them with (2) new 12-ton package HVAC units along with the associated electrical and ductwork. The ARSR is located on Laurel Mountain, OR. The site is only accessible via a logging road and it must be during daylight hours only. Logging is active in this area at all times of the year, with peak usage during the summer and early fall. CB radios will be required for all vehicles traveling to the construction site. Logging trucks have the right of way. Periods of heavy rain make the roads impassable The FAA will conduct a site visit sometime in April, depending on the weather. The FAA expects construction to begin during June “ August time period. 1.Contract performance time is 30 calendar days excluding inclement weather 2.This procurement is a Small Business Set Aside 3.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238220- Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) contractors 4.The Small Business Size Standard is $15 Million 5.The dollar range for this project is under $200,000 6.Site Visit Information will be specified in the Request for Offer The Request for Offer Package is expected to be available mid-March 2018. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 3:00 pm (CST) by March 2, 2018. Contractors must provide name of company, physical mailing address, telephone number and complete the two attached documents: DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND BUSINESS DECLARATION FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE.
