The shackles shall be fabricated in accordance with Specification No. 417, Rev. F. The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation resulting in the award of a requirements contract with firm-fixed-price unit prices and an economic price adjustment for steel. The period of performance is anticipated to be for a base and four option years with an expected start date of no later than September 2018. A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought Notice (i.e., if enough small business interest indicates that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competitioin purposes).
